This class will cover the basics of N-95 respirators, the requirements for their use, and the processes for conducting qualitative (the hood method) and quantitative (with a Portacount machine) fit testing. There will be hands-on instruction on how to conduct fit testing, so participants must bring a few of the N-95 respirators that their organization uses with them to the training. During the training, you will also learn how you can borrow our fit testing equipment (including the Portacount!) to complete your organization’s fit testing – free of charge!
Due to the limited number of seats available (only 12 per class), we are first opening this training up to our Coalition MOA members. Next week, we will open up registration to all Tampa Bay Coalition members and partners.
