On Tuesday, August 18, 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. ET, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will host a webinar on the FDA’s surgical masks umbrella emergency use authorization (EUA). The FDA issued this EUA on August 5, 2020, in response to concerns relating to insufficient supply and availability of disposable, single-use surgical masks during COVID-19.

During this webinar, the FDA will review this EUA and answer questions from stakeholders.
