Alex is a specialist in managing conflict in disaster contexts, specifically communication and coordination between responders from different backgrounds and organizations working in high-stress environments. Alex holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University, is a certified Paramedic, and is a Board Member and senior instructor with the Consortium for Humanitarian Service and Education where he trains future international and domestic disaster responders during multi-day field training events.
