An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until December 15, 2021
Participants in this course will learn the curriculum and instruction methods on December 14th and will assist in teaching the Until Help Arrives course the following day, December 15th from 8am-12pm, at the same location.
To train as Lead Instructor, you should have:
• Current medical license as RN, PA, ARNP, EMT, EMT-P, MD, LPN, CNA
• Current CPR, First-Aid Cards; AED; BLS, ALS
• Experience teaching adult education classes – two (2) years
To train as Co-Lead Instructor, you should have:
• Current CPR, First-Aid Cards; AED; BLS, ALS
• Experience teaching adult education classes – two (2) years
Until Help Arrives includes the 5 steps below:
• Use simple and effective skills to help save lives
• Communicate with 9-1-1 operators
• Techniques to stop life-threatening bleeding (i.e. Stop the Bleed)
• Provide emotional support
• Stay safe
