Amber M. Gum, Ph.D. , a Professor in the Department of Mental Health Law & Policy at USF , a Professor & Psychologist in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine at USF Health

Asa Oxner, MD, the Vice Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at USF ; the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and the Medical Director of Patient Centered Medical Home

At the end of this presentation participants will be able to:

  • Define the Problem: Recognize Socioeconomic Differences in the Disaster Context
  • Identify Social Determinants of Health Impacting Disaster Responses, including vaccination efforts
  • Implement a strategic toolkit to reach your target population
  • Develop long-term plans to sustain the vaccination response, which can be applied to other disaster response efforts
