G-291 Joint Information System/Joint Information Center: Planning for Tribal, State and Local Public Information Officers
December 1, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
FEMA G-291 Joint Information System/Joint Information Center: Planning for Tribal, State and Local Public Information Officers course, December 1, 2016 in Pasco County. There are still seats available in this offering, a great chance to complete this training before the end of 2016!
This course is an excellent overview of the Joint Information System/Joint Information Center coordination within the Incident Command Structure (ICS) for newer PIOs and a great opportunity for more experienced PIOs to share their knowledge. This course is the second in the series of FEMA PIO courses; students will need to have completed the FEMA G-290 Basic PIO to attend.
Registration is at SERT TRAC: http://trac.floridadisaster.org/TRAC/loginform.aspx
(If you have not registered for a course in SERT TRAC before, you will need to create a profile. Certificates for completion of the course will be issued electronically from SERT TRAC. If your supervisor does not receive an immediate, auto-generated email request for approval for your attendance, please contact Monica as soon as possible.)
