This course is an excellent overview of the Joint Information System/Joint Information Center coordination within the Incident Command Structure (ICS) for newer PIOs and a great opportunity for more experienced PIOs to share their knowledge. This course is the second in the series of FEMA PIO courses; students will need to have completed the FEMA G-290 Basic PIO to attend.
