This is the second offering of this training being brought to you by Jensen Hughes through a contract with the Tampa Bay Health and Medical Preparedness Coalition.  This Webinar will cover the essential components of evacuation planning and execution for long-term care facilities. We’ll begin by understanding the importance of preparedness and review real-world case studies about national and local evacuations. We will then discuss how to prepare your facility for a potential evacuation, including the use of NHICS (Nursing Home Incident Command System) forms for efficient communication and coordination. The session will also cover an overview process of conducting an evacuation, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. Finally, we’ll delve into a Rhode Island-specific case study to draw relevant lessons and innovative ideas during an emergent evacuation.
